Joh(annes) dei gratia Chymen(sis) ecclesie episcopus universis Christi fidelibus presentes litteras intuentibus salutem in eo, qui est omnium vera salus ad officii nostri sollicitudinem pertinet quoslibet sancte matris ecclesie filios spiritualiter genitos quibusdam muneribus illectivis ad pietatis opera invitare. Cum igitur sicut accepimus hospitale sancti Joh(annis) ew(angeliste) et beate Katherine virginis et martiris situm in pede pontis civitatis Rat(isponensis) multos pauperes et infirmos nutriat nec ipsius pro eorundem pauperum sustentatione proprie sufficiant facultates. Nos de omnipotentis dei misericordia et beatorum apostolorum eius Petri et Pauli confisi suffragiis omnibus vere penitentibus et confessis, qui pauperibus dicti hospitalis manum porrexerint adiutricem quadraginta dies de iniuncta sibi penitencia, dummodo dyocesani voluntas accesserit et consensus, misericorditer relaxamus presentibus, si per questuarios deferantur minime valituris.
