Papst Innozenz IV. gestattet Erzbischof (Siegfried III.) von Mainz, seinem Freund dem Abt des Michaelisklosters in Hildesheim den Gebrauch von Ring, Handschuhen, Sandalen, Dalmatika und Tunika zu erlauben, sowie das Recht, Altardecken, sowohl Diakons- wie auch Priestergewänder sowie nach Art der Päpste das Kirchenvolk beim Verlassen der Kirche nach den Gottesdiensten zu segnen.
