Fridericus Dei gracia Romanorum Imperator semper Augustus et Rex Sicilie Universis fidelibus suis per Imperium constitutis omne bonum. Fidelitati vestre volumus esse notum, quod nos adtendentes prudenciam et honestatem H. prepositi de Ranshoven fidelis nostri ipsum in dilectum Capellanum recepimus et tam personam ipsius quam omnia bona, que in presenti habet vel in futuro dante Domino poterit adipisci, sub speciali nostra et Imperii suscepimus protectione districtius inhibentes, ne quis eum in persona vel rebus suis contra protectionis nostre tenorem molestare aut perturbare presumat. Quod si presumpserit, indignationem nostri culminis se noverit incursurum. Datum Cathanie Kalend. Octobris Indictione XI.
