Papst Innocenz IV. beauftragt den Scholaster des Domcapitels von Regensburg, dann die Pfarrer von Kirchberg und Hornbach in der Regensburger Diöcese, den Streit zwischen dem Archidiacon L. von Passau und dem Propst von Ranshofen, welcher die Exemtion seiner Pfarren von der Jurisdiction des Archidiacons anspricht, zu untersuchen.Source Regest: OÖUB 3 (Wien 1862) S. 203, Nr. 207

INnocencius episcopus seruus seruorum dei dilectis filiis R. scolastico maioris ecclesie de chirichperg et de Horbach plebanis Ratisponensis salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Sua nobis prepositus et conuentus de Ranshouen conquestione monstrauit, quod L. archidiaconus patauiensis super iurisdictione uisitacionis et procuracionis quorumdam plebanorum pertinencium ad eosdem contra antiquam et approbatam consuetudinem et rebus aliis grauiter iniuriatur eisdem. Ideoque discrecioni uestre per apostolica scripta mandamus, quatenus partibus conuocatis et auditis hinc inde propositis, quod iustum fuerit, appellacione postposita decernatis facientes, quod decreueritis, per censuram ecclesiasticam firmiter obseruari. Testes autem, qui fuerint nominati, si de gracia, odio uel timore se subtraxerint, cogatis censura simili appellacione remota ueritati testimonium perhibere. Quot (sic) si non omnes hiis exsequendis potueritis interesse, duo uestrum nichilominus exsequantur. Datum laterani II. Nonas februarii, pontificatus nostri anno XII.
