      Fridericus dei gratia Romanorum imperator semper augustus et rex Sycilie. Per presens scriptum notum facimus universis tam presentibus quam futuris, quod nos attendentes honestam vitam et laudabilem conversationem venerabilis abbatis, conventus et monasterii de Waltsahsen, ipsum monasterium cum omnibus bonis suis stabilibus et mobilibus, que nunc iuste possident et in posterum, dante domino, iustis modis poterunt adipisci sub nostra et imperii protectione suscipimus, statuentes et imperiali edicto firmiter inhibentes, ut de cetero nulla persona magna vel parva, ecclesiastica vel secularis, contra huius nostre protectionis paginam dictum abbatem, conventum et monasterium memoratum in aliquo molestare audeat vel presumat. Quicumque autem hoc attemptare presumpserit, iram et indignationem nostram se noverit graviter incursurum.
