Omnibus Christi fidelibus ad quos presens scriptum peruenerit Thomas de Clare salutem in domino Cum per inspectionem cartarum quas priorissa de Clerekenewell[] nobis veraciter exhibuit et manifeste perpenderimus quod Iohannes Weston et heredes sui pro terris sibi datis in Blaneford tenentur facere sectam ad Hundredum nostrum de Conewesdich pro predicta priorissa et successoribus suis et ipsas pro tenementis que habent in eodem Hundredo de huiusmodi sectis in eadem curia aquietare ac dictus Iohannes et antecessores sui predictam sectam fecerint pro priorissa memorata et ipsam in eadem curia sine inpedimento aquietauerit prout idem Iohannes nos ad instanciam karissimi nostri Iohannis de Kyrkeby et aliorum nostrorum nec non et pro salute nostra concessimus pro nobis et heredibus nostris predicte priorisse et successoribus quod dictus Iohannes et heredes sui possint et debeant de cetero libere et sine contradiccione et impedimento nostri et heredum vel balliuorum nostrorum facere predictam sectam ad predictum Hundredum pro predicta priorissa et successoribus suis et ipsas in eodem Hundredo aquietare de eadem sec[ta] [curie] et pro ipsis imperpetuum respondere Concessimus et memoratis priorissis et successoribus suis quod quando contigit quod habeant custodiam heredum et terrarum predicti Iohannis vel aliorum heredum qui predictas terras et tenementa processu temporis tenebunt et predicta priorissa et successores sue faciant sectam ad dictum Hundredum non pro se sed racione custodie predictorum heredum et terrarum quamdiu fuerint infra legitimam etatem quod racione huiusmodi secte supradictis priorisse et successoribus suis seu earum domui nullum unquam possit preiudicium generari Pro huiusmodi autem gratia predicta priorissa et conuentus receperunt nos in fratrem suum et in speciales orationes suas imperpetuum In cuius rei testimonium huic presenti scripto sigillum nostrum apposuimus Hiis testibus Domino Iohanne de Kyrkeby Ada de Strattone Stephano de Cornhell[] Elia de Hereford et aliis Dat[] London[] tercio Kal[] Iulii anno domini m cc lxx quinto
