Omnibus sancte matris ecclesie filiis ad quos presens scriptum peruenerit W dictus prior et conventus canonicorum Ecclesie sancti Johannis apostoli et evangeliste de Legha salutem in domino Noverit universitas vestra quod nos tenemur reddere annuatim ecclesie sancte Trinitatis de Cadomo decem solid[os] esterling[orum] ad duos terminos anni scilicet ad Pascha quinque solidos et ad festum sancti Michaelis quinque solidos pro dimidia virgata terre cum pertinenciis suis quam domina J abbatissa et conuentus sancte Trinitatis de Cadamo nobis concesserunt et carta sua confirmaverunt Salvo iure cuiuslibet et salva decima dicte terre que ad dictam ecclesiam sancte Trinitatis Cadom[] pertinet Defendemus insuper de forinseco servicio dictam terram secundum quod alia dimidia virgata terre se defendit in eadem villa de Felsted Claudemus eciam et metas observabimus inter predictam terram et boscum de Presteheye quod est dicte Abbatisse secundum metas antiquas Non licebit nobis cursum aque molendini dicte Abbatisse alicubi derivare aut divertere unde dictum molendinum vel stagnum dampnum suscipiat Nec etiam versus stagnum aliquid exigemus ultra antiquas bundas et metas Nullam etiam edificiam faciemus super aliquam partem dicte terre Volumus eciam quod si nos contra hec prescripta in aliquo venire attemptaverimus licebit baillivis dicte Abbatisse nos distringere per predictam terram et per catalla desuper inventa Et ut hec prescripta firmitatis et stabilitatis robur optineat in perpetuum presens scriptum sigilli capituli nostri apposicione dignum duximus roborare [] Actum est hoc anno ab incarnacione domini mcc vicesimo septimo
