Original Designation: no. 179 (p.113-14). Institution by Geoffrey de Burgh bishop of Ely of Abbot Richard and the canons to the church of St Mary at Shudy Camps, vacant by the resignation of the former parson Master Robert de Archis, following the grant of advowson made to them for the completion and maintenance of the church of Waltham by Juliana of Shudy Camps. The abbot has been inducted into corporal possession of the church and has granted to the perpetual vicar who will minister in the church all the offerings at the altar and the small tithes, except tithe of hay, with a suitable manse and with two good acres each of wheat and of oats a year from the church's demesne; the vicar will discharge the obligations of the church.
