Original Designation no. 579 (p.400-01). Confirmation by Thomas de Blundeville bishop of Norwich with the consent of his chapter to Abbot Richard and the canons of their possession of the church of St Peter at Guestwick to be appropriated by them after the death of the rector Ralph son of Peter, when provision for a suitable vicarage will be made. In any vacancy at the church, the abbot and canons will present a suitable parson to the bishop who will institute him to the vicarage; if they delay so to do, the bishop will institute a vicar. The vicar shall discharge the obligations of the church and shall pay one third, and the abbot and canons two thirds, of the costs of replacing books and ornaments in the church. At London.
