12. Final concord made in the king's court at Westminster before the justices named between Gilbert Pecche and Eva his mother, by their attorney William de Horseheath, and John prior of Stoke by Clare concerning the common fishery in the waters of Birdbrook, wherein the prior quitclaims to Gilbert and Eva and the heirs of the former all his right, saving the common fishery in those parts of the vill where the land of the earl of Clare abuts on the said water. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westmonasterium a die Pasche in unum mensem anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Iohannis tricesimo quarto coram Rogero de Thurkelby Roberto de Brus Iohanne de Cobbeham et Alano de Wassand iusticiariis et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Gilbertum Pecche et Evam matrem eius querentes per Willelmum de Horsete positum loco ipsorum Gilberti et Eve ad lucrandum vel perdendum et Iohannem priorem de Stokes deforciantem de communa piscaria quam idem Gilbertus et Eva clamabant habere in aqua de Bridebrok et unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia scilicet quod predictus prior remisit et quietum clamavit de se et successoribus suis et ecclesia sua de Stokes predictis Gilberto et Eve et heredibus ipsius Gilberti totum ius et clameum quod habuit in predicta piscaria inperpetuum salva predicto priori et successoribus suis et ecclesie sue predicte communa piscaria in predicta aqua in omnibus locis in eadem villa ubi terra comitis de Clara abuttat super predictam aquam Et pro hac remissione quietaclamacione fine et concordia idem Gilbertus et Eva dederunt predicto priori unum spervarium sorum
