Anno regni regis h[] filii regis j[] xxv Adam filius Rob[] tulit breve de nova dissesina super abbatem Belli Loci coram w[] de Ebor[] Rogero de Turk[] et sociis suis justiciariis domini regis tunc itinerantibus ad omnia placita in comitatu Berks[] apud Rading[] Et assisa inde arrannata venit coram justiciariis cuius placiti inrotulacio facta coram eisdem justiciariis talis est Assisa venit recens si abbas de Bello Loco injuste et cetera dissesivit Adam filium Rob[] de libero tenemento suo in Far[] post primam et cetera Et abbas venit et dicit quod asseisina non debet inde fieri quia dicit quod Farendon[] est antiquum dominicum domini regis et nullum breve debet esse in Far[] nisi parvum breve quod debet habere justiciam secundum consuetudinem manerii Et quod totus comitatus recordatur quod Far[] est antiquum manerium et dominicum domini regis et quod non possunt homines de manerio illo nisi feofati fuerunt per cartas aliquod breve impetrare nec per aliquod breve implacitare nisi per parvurn breve Ideo abbas sine die et alius in misericordia
