77. Settlement before Silvester archdeacon of Chichester and Master W. Dur' canon of Chichester, judges delegate appointed by a mandate of Pope Innocent III (10 February 1213) in a dispute wherein A. rector of Denham claimed that the prior and convent of Eye and Theobald vicar of Eye had deprived his church of Denham of the tithes of 3 acres of Roger son of Brictgene, formerly belonging to John son of Walbede, and of the 6 acres formerly belonging to Hubert Wrod in Aldecroft, and also of the lesser tithes, offerings and parochial rights of Roger son of Brictgene and Ralph son of Leurich. The church of Denham is to have the tithes of the 3 acres and the lesser tithes, offerings and burial dues of Roger and Ralph, but the prior and convent are to retain the tithes of the 6 acres of Hubert Wrod. 10 April 1215. Sententia de decimis vi acrarum que fuerunt Huberti Wrod in Denham. (AgreementSettlement ) Givers: Silvester (Archdeacon of Chichester Cathedral - Chicester), Master W.
