164. Notification by Thomas Blundeville bishop of Norwich, that since a pension of one bezant has become vacant in the church of St Martin Dunwich in which church Peter of Dunwich, clerk, has for some time held the vicarage, he has instituted Peter as parson on the presentation of the prior and convent being mindful that a church ought to have only one rector and wishing, therefore, to consolidate the pension.
