sciant presentes et futuri quod anno domini millesimo ducentesimo quinquagesimo in festo annunciationis beate Marie ita conuenit inter Iohannem de Chelebautun magistrum Domus Dei Suthamt et fratres ac sorores eiusdem Domus ex una parte et Petrum Thickeman de Suthamt ex altera uidelicet quod dicti magister fratres et sorores concesserunt et dimiserunt dicto Petro quandam terram cum edificiis que de feudo et elemosina dicte Domus Dei est in Suthamt in parochia sancte Crucis in parte orientali uici quam Iohannes de Neuwetune aliquando tenuit et que iacet inter mesuagium dicti Petri Thickeman uersus aquilonem et mesuagium Michelis Pudele uersus austrum et que habet in longitudine a strata regia uersus orientem usque ad foueam communem centum et quinquaginta quinque ulnas de ulnis ferreis domini regis Henrici tertii non interpositis pollicibus mensurantis et in latitudine in parte uersus stratam quinque ulnas et dimidiam et unum quartarium de eisdem et in parte uersus foueam predictam quatuor ulnas et dimidiam et unum quartarium de eisdem integram et liberam ipsi Petro et heredibus suis de carne sua procreatis seu procreandis et eiusmodi heredibus eorundem de predicta Domo Dei pro quinque solidis annuis sterlingorum quieti redditus ad quatuor anni terminos eidem Domui Dei ibidem fideliter et sine difficultate qualibet persoluendis habend et tenend quamdiu scilicet idem Petrus et heredes sui pretaxati predictum redditum quinque solidorum ad predictos terminos ut predictum est persoluerint et edificia sine detrimento euidenti sustentauerint competenter pro omni seruicio ad dictam Domum Dei pertinente domini regis et alterius cuiuslibet semper et in omnibus iure saluo uidelicet ad Pascha quindecim denarios [etc] In cuius rei robur et testimonium signa dictorum magistri et Domus ex una parte et dicti Petri ex altera huic scripto cyrographato hinc inde sunt appensa Hiis testibus domino Waltero Flandrensi tunc senescallo dominis Thurstino Hayrun et Simone de la Bulehuse tunc prepositis de Suth Willelmo Fortin Benedicto Azonis Samsone de Puteo Matheo Gese Thoma le Blund Thoma Nigro Roberto de Arundel Rogero Flandrensi Ricardo le Bretune tunc clerico curie Willelmo Baret Willelmo le Neue tunc seruientibus Suth Iohanne de Glouu[ernia] et multis aliis
