315. Final concord between Osbert Turpin, plaintiff, for whom his wife Joan acted as attorney, and Thomas of Charlecote, tenant. Osbert quitclaimed three-fifths of a knight's fee in Haseley, and restored the relevant charters of his brother, William Turpin. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westm[] a die Pasch[] in quinque septimanas anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis septimo coram H de Burg[] tunc capitali justic[] Martino de Pa[tes]hill[] Radulfo Hareng[] Stephano de Segrave Thoma de Heyden[] Roberto de Lexinton[] Gaufrido le Sauvage justic[] et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Osbertum Turpin petentem per Johannam uxorem eius positam loco ipsius ad lucrandum vel perdendum et Thomam de Cherlkot tenentem de feodo dimidii militis et de decima parte feodi unius militis cum pertinenciis in Hasel[] unde placitum fuit inter eos in prefata curia Scilicet quod predictus Osbertus remisit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis ipsi Thome et heredibus suis totum jus et clamium quod habuit in predicta terra cum pertinenciis imperpetuum Et pro hac remissione quieta clamantia fine et concordia idem Thomas dedit ipsi Osberto novem marcas argenti Et idem Osbertus omnes cartas Willelmi Turpin fratris sui et omnia munimenta que dicebat se habere de predicta terra eidem Thome reddidit in eadem curia Et si idem Osbertus vel heredes sui aliquam inde cartam in posterum proferant pro nulla habebitur
