Uniuersis pateat per presentes quod nos Adam de Sydyerd gramaticus et Lucia uxor mea unanimi consensu et bona uoluntate nostra concessimus et hac presenti carta nostra confirmauimus Iohanni de Ketering et Margerie uxori eius pro eorundem seruicio totam partem nostram tocius illius mesuagii cum pertinenciis quod situm est in parochia sancti Michaelis borialis Oxonie inter terram Symonis barbitonsoris ex parte una et terram Rogeri Mimekan ex altera habend et tenend totam partem nostram dicti mesuagii prefatis Iohanni et Margerie uxori eius quamdiu uixerint libere quiete bene et in pace reddendo inde annuatim abbati et conuentui Oseneye octo solidos sterlingorum ad quatuor anni terminos principales et usuales pro equali porcione de toto mesuagio dicto integro tam pro parte nostra quam ex parte altera et nobis et heredibus nostris uel nostris assignatis septem solidos argenti ad tres terminos anni uidelicet ad festum sancti Martini duos solidos et ad festum beate Marie in Marcio duos solidos et ad festum sancti Iohannis Baptiste tres solidos pro omni seruicio seculari exaccione et demanda Et predicti Iohannes et Margeria uxor eius omnes domos dicti mesuagii eorundem propriis sumptibus sustentabunt et emendabunt in adeo bono statu quamdiu uixerint cum a nobis receperunt uel in meliori Et si contingat quod predicti Iohannes et Margeria uxor eius dum uixerint in solucione dicti redditus in toto uel in parte defecerint terminis statutis quod absit tunc obligant se pro quolibet termino non soluto in subcidium terre sancte quadraginta solid[is] sub eadem pena obligamus nos pro nobis et heredibus nostris si defecerimus in pacto nostro prescripto ita quod post decessum predictorum Iohannis et Margerie uxoris eius tota pars predicta dicti mesuagii cum pertinenciis nobis et heredibus nostris uel nostris assignatis sine omni contradiccione reuertetur In cuius rei testimonium huic presenti scripto bipartito tam nos predicti Adam et Lucia uxor mea quam predicti Iohannes et Margeria uxor eius ex parte altera sigilla nostra alternatim apposuimus et ad hec omnia fideliter pro utraque parte tenend fide media corporale prestitimus sacramentum hiis testibus Iohanne de Dokelintone tunc maiore Oxonie Waltero de Wycumbe et Willelmo Pennard tunc balliuis eiusdem ville Iohanne de Ew iuniore Willelmo de la Marche Willelmo de Colesbourne Willelmo de Lambourne clerico et aliis Dat[] Oxonie die Pentecost[] anno regni regis Edwardi tricesimo quinto
