Tenore praesentium litterarum pateat universis quod nos Ricardus permissione divina Herefordensis episcopus recepimus et habuimus per manum Johannis de Bery liberantis tredecim marcas legalium sterlingorum a venerabili patre domino Johanne Dei gratia abbate monasterii Sancti Petri Gloucestriae et ejusdem loci conventu nobis debitas ratione servitii seu scutagii vel pro uno milite exhibendo in exercitu domini regis in Scotiam pro omnibus terris et tenementis quas praedicti abbas et conventus seu tenentes sui tenent de nobis in Ullingewyke Et volumus quod de omnibus arreragiis cujuscumque servitii militaris a principio mundi usque ad datam praesentium sint quieti Et nolumus quod ista solutio nobis modo facta abbati praedicto vel successoribus suis seu ecclesiae suae praedictae in aliquo imposterum sit praejudicialis quin pro portione sua villatae praedictae de Ullingewyke prout consueverant et de jure tenentur cum ad suum turnum militarem venerint scutagium cum acciderit solvant In cujus rei testimonium sigillum nostrum praesentibus est appensum Datum apud Bosebury tertio idus Octobris anno Domini millesimo trecentesimo decimo
