390. Notification by Bishop Walter [de Cantilupe] that he has granted to the almoner of the priory 3 marks from the church of Iccomb, the patronage of which belongs to the monks, payable by the rector of the same church. This sum shall include 1-2 mark which the almoner already received from the church and the almoner shall assign 2 1-2 marks to Adam of Iccomb during his lifetime. 23 November 1239. Uniuersis Christi fidelibus presentes litteras inspecturis w[alterus] diuina miseratione Wigorn[] ecclesie minister humilis salutem in domino sempiternam Cum ex offitii nostri debito pauperum et peregrinorum indigentie prospicere et eisdem affectione paterna subuenire teneamur attendentes magnam pauperum et peregrinorum confluentiam apud Wigorn[] ut dicti pauperes nostram gratiam sibi sentiant fructuosam de consensu et voluntate conuentus Wigorn[] ecclesie tres marcas ad usus dictorum indigentium elemosinario Wigorn[] quicunque pro tempore fuerit de ecclesia de Ycumbe cuius patronatus ad dictum conuentus pertinere dinoscitur per manus rectoris dicte ecclesie singulis annis in perpetuum nomine perpetui benefitii percipiendas dedimus et auctoritate pontificali confirmauimus Ita tamen quod in dictis tribus marcis dimidia marca quam elemosinarius Wigorn[] ab eadem ecclesia percipere consueuit computetur De dictis vero tribus marcis Adam de Icumbe percipiet annuatim duas marcas et dimidiam per manum elemosinarii quamdiu vixerit et post ipsius decessum dictus elemosinarius dictas tres marcas integre percipiet ut in usus dictorum pauperum conuertantur In cuius rei testimonium hoc presens scriptum et sigilli nostri munimine duximus roborandum Dat[] apud Cyrencestr[] nono kal Decembris pontificatus nostri anno tercio
