Confirmation by Simon the dean and the chapter of York of the grants made by William formerly archbishop and William formerly dean and the chapter of York to Newburgh priory relating to the churches of Hood, Coxwold, Thirsk, Hovingham, Welbum, Kirkby in Ryedale [Kirkby Moorside], Cundall, and Kirkby by Boroughbridge [Kirby Hill], with their chapels, tithes and lands, saving the rights of the church of York and the archbishops.
