Date: There follows the fine at York, 3 Henry III, before R. bishop of Durham, Martin de Pateshull [etc.] between Elias de Amundeuill, claimant, and John prior of Boulton, deforciant, as to the advowson of the church of Preston, whereof an assize of darrein presentment had been summoned between them in the same court; Elias recognised that the advowson was the prior's right.
