Date: Date. The alternative, 1347, would be too late for the collection and for John of Walton. The Peterborough calendar in Lambeth MS. 198a gives Sts. Simon and Jude's Day as 27 October, but it seems doubtful if the monks and their tenants really celebrated it on that day (other calendars known to us give the usual 28 October). Feast Regnal
