Omnibus Christi fidelibus presens scriptum visuris vel audituris Frater Ricardus prior de Thurgarton[] et ejusdem loci conventus salutem in domino Noveritis nos unanimi consensu et voluntate capituli nostri dedisse concessisse et hac carta nostra confirmasse magistro Ricardo de Rupe unum mesuagium in Notingham[] cum edificiis ibidem constructis illud scilicet quod fuit aliquando Walteri patris sui tenend et habend de nobis et successoribus nostris sibi et heredibus suis vel assignatis libere integre et pacifice inperpetuum reddendo inde annuatim nobis et successoribus nostris d[uodec]im solidos argenti ad pietanciam conventui faciendam tam in anniversario patris sui quam in anniversario matris sue imperpetuum scilicet medietatem ad invencionem sancte crucis [et] alteram medietatem in festo sancti Martini pro omni servicio exaccione et demanda ad nos vel successores nostros pertinente Et predictus Ricardus et heredes sui vel assignati solvent annuatim servicia debita capitalibus dominis et sustinebunt omnia onera dictum mesuagium contingencia secundum consuetudines burgi de Notingham[] et sustinebunt domos nec ipsas domos vendent aut alienabunt sine licencia nostri vel successorum nostrorum ita quod nos et successores nostri liberum et congruum nostri liberum et congruum ibidem habeamus hospicium cum pro domus nostre negocio apud Notingh[] accedemus et hoc sumptibus inperpetuum Et ad majorem hujus rei securitatem est hoc scriptum in modum cyrographi confectum et sigillis parcium alternatim appensis roboratum Teste capitulo nostro
