Omnibus Christi fidelibus ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit Robertus abbas de Rucford[] et Hugo decanus Suell[] salutem in domino Universitati vestre significamus nos mandatum domini pape in hec verba suscepisse [...] Hujus igitur auctoritate mandati partibus in presencia nostra constitutis contencio mota inter priorem et conventum de Thurgarton[] ex parte una et Radulphum filius Lewyni civem Linc[] ex altera super detencione unius furni in Linc[] in Sapergate et unius mesuagii in Estgate coram nobis amicabiliter conquievit in hunc modum videlicet quod prior et conventus de Thurgarton[] omnes querelas suas de detencionibus et injuriis et expensis remiserunt eidem ita quod dictus Radulphus firmam detentam scilicet xij solidos eis persolvit ad festum decollacionis sancti Johannis Baptiste secundi anni a translacione sancti Thome martiris Cantuarensis et ut firma eis debita de predictis furno et terra ad terminos statutos eis integre persolvatur Predictus Radulphus per juramentum corporaliter prestitum appellacionem privilegio fori et omni subterfugio renuncians subjecit se jurisdiccioni capituli Suell[] censura ecclesiastica cohercendum si a solucione dicte firme ad aliquem terminum cessaverit hoc adjecto quod si forte predictus R furnum vel terram predictam dimitere vel alii tradidere voluerit Hoc faciet ad aliquam terminorum et firma soluta Et si furnum et terram tenuerit usque ad medietatem temporis inter duos terminos et ea tunc voluerit dimitere firmam integram terminum proximum futuri persolvet Et ad majorem securitatem hujus pacis ad instanciam parcium capituli Suell[] sigillum suum comune una cum sigillis nostris et sigillis parcium huic scripto apposuit Teste eodem capitulo Testibus eciam hiis etc
