Universis Christi fidelibus ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit magister Johannes de Taunton[] tunc cancellarius Oxonie salutem in domino Mandatum domini pape recipimus in hec verba [...] Cum igitur auctoritate hujus mandati coram sub delegato predecessoris nostri questio verteretur inter r[] thesaurarium Lich[] tunc rectorem ecclesie de Croxale ex parte una et priorem et conventum de Tuttesbir[] et Robertum de Rideware clericum reos ex parte altera super duabus partibus decimarum garbarum de dominico domini Radulfi de sancto Amando in villa de Catton[] et duabus partibus decimarum garbarum domine Ysabelle de Hanton[] in eadem villa quas idem r[] thesaurarius petebat a dictis reis tamquam ad ecclesiam suam de Croxale communi jure spectantes et idem prior et conventus se dicerent ad tenend dictas decimas sufficienter speciali jure munitos cum jam aliquantulum processissent in calidis sic inter eas amicabili fine quievit videlicet quod dictus thesaurarius Lich[] rector ecclesie de Croxhale et successores sui rectores ejusdem ecclesie de Croxale qui pro tempore fuerint perpetuo percipiant et possideant decimas ante dictas et reddant dictis priori et conventui decem et octo solidos terminis infra scriptis videlicet in festo purificacionis beate Virginis proximo post festum sancti Michaelis novem solidos et in festum beati Johannis Baptiste[] novem solidos et sic deinceps annuatim Subjecitque de dictis r[] rector ecclesie de Croxale et successores suos rectores ecclesie de Croxale quantum in ipso fuit jurisdiccioni decani Lich[] qui pro tempore fuerit ut possit eos si forsan aliquo terminorum in solucione cessaverint ad solucionem tam dicte pecunie quam dampnorum et expensarum que per hoc incurrerint dicti prior et conventus per censuram ecclesiasticam appellacione remota compellere Prior eciam et conventus de Repindon[] patroni ecclesie de Croxale supradicte huic composicioni consencientes in consensus sui testimonium sigillo suo una cum sigillis parcium presentem paginam signaverunt Nos eciam dictam composicionem ratam habentes eam confirmavimus auctoritate sedis apostolice nobis in hac parte commissa cujus tenor superius continetur In premissorum autem testimonium et munimen presens scriptum sigilli nostri munimine fecimus roborari Act[] anno gracie m cc xl quarto apud Lich[] die sancti Johannis apostoli
