93 Final concord between Waleran earl of Warwick, plaintiff , and Ralph Basset (11) of Drayton Bassett (Staffs), defendant, concerning a hedge in Drayton Bassett which the earl said harmed his forest of Coldfield in his manor of Sutton Coldfield (Warw). The earl quitclaimed the hedge and the whole park of Drayton Bassett enclosed within it, and in return Ralph conceded 2 fit bucks every year. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Norht[] die martis proxima post festum sancte crucis anno regni regis Johannis quarto coram Simone de Pat[]hill[] Eustachio de Faucunberg[] Ricardo Malebisse Henrico de Norht[] Alexander de Pontion[] justic[] et aliis fidelibus domini regis ibidem tunc presentibus inter Waleramum comitem Warrewic querentem et Radulfum Basset tenentem de una sepe in Draiton[] quam idem comes dixit fuisse levatam ad nocumentum foreste sue de Colmesfeld unde placitum fuit inter eos in prefata curia scilicet quod predictus comes concessit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto Radulfo et heredibus suis predictam sepem et totum parcum de Draiton[] infra illam sepem inclusum Et pro hac concessione et quieta clamantia et fine et concordia predictus Radulfus pro se et heredibus suis concessit eidem comiti et heredibus suis duas damos idoneos quolibet anno captos inter asumptionem et nativitatem beate Marie scilicet de utroque damo quatuor membra et capud cum corio et furcheto ita quod predictus Radulfus vel heredes sui per se ipsos vel per nuntios suos facient habere bailivos predicti comitis vel heredum suorum ad manerium ipsius comitis de Sutton[] predictos duos damos sicut predictum est inter predicta duo festa Et sciendum quod predictum parcum de Draiton[] ita clausum erit quod totum erit integrum versus forestam predicti comitis de Colmesfeld et sine bukestall[]
