Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Wynton[] die lune proxima post purificationem beate Marie anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis vicesimo coram Willelmo de Ebor[] Willelmo de Insula Radulfo de Norwico et Hugone de Playz justic[] itinerantibus et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Gilbertum Basset petentem et Willelmum de Ponte Arche tenentem de duabus carucatis terre cum pertinentiis in Neweton[] unde recognitio magne assise summonita fuit inter eos in eadem curiascilicet quod predictus Gilbertus remisit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto Willelmo et heredibus suis totum jus et clamium quod habuit in tota predicta terra cum pertinentiis in perpetuum Et pro hac remissione quieta clamantia fine et concordia idem Willelmus dedit predicto Gilberto ducentas et sexaginta marcas argenti Et si predictus Gilbertus vel heredes sui decetero aliquas cartas vel aliqua munimenta contra hunc finem proferant pro nichilo penitus habebuntur
