439. Quieta clamacio Willelmi filii Simonis de Mikeltwait de ij. acris juxta molendinum de Kerebi et de omnibus alfis terris de donis Thome de Archis. [1245-6] William son of Simon of Micklethwaite released his rights in 2 acres of land, lying on each side of the mill ditch of Kearby, and in all the lands the Sallay monks possessed there in 1245-6. Omnibus hoc scriptum visuris vel audituris Willelmus filius Simonis de Mikelthwait salutem Noveritis me dedisse concessisse et presenti carta mea confirmasse Deo et beate Marie et monachis de Sallai totum jus et clamium quod habui vel habere potui in duabus acris terre cum pertinenciis ex utraque parte fossati molendini de Kerebi jacentibus sicut continetur in carta Thome de Arches quam inde habent et totum jus et clamium quod habui vel habere potui aut aliquis per me in omnibus terris et tenementis que dicti abbas et conventus habuerunt in dicta villa anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis tricesimo ita quod liceat dictis monachis de dictis terris et tenementis facere quod sibi magis viderint expedire tam in edificiis quam clausuris et aliis utilitatibus sine impedimento mei vel heredum meorum In cujus rei testimonium huic carte sigillum meum apposui Hiis testibus Ada de Neirforde Odinello de Aubeni W Graindorge et multis aliis
