Omnibus Christi fidelibus ad quorum noticiam pervenerit hoc scriptum Martinus Siward de Seleby salutem in Domino sempiternam Noverit universitas vestra me sursum reddidisse et de me et heredibus meis imperpetuum quietum clamasse religiosis viris Abbati et Conventui de Seleby et successoribus suis illam placeam terrae quae vocatur Wetecroft in territorio de Seleby quam de eis prius tenui ita scilicet quod nec ego nec heredes mei aliquod jus vel clameum in dicta terra habere poterimus in futurum In cujus rei testimonium praesenti scripto sigillum meum apposui Dat apud Seleby die Jovis proxima post festum Annunciacionis beatae Mariae Virginis anno Domini Millesimo ducentesimo octogesimo primo Hiis testibus Willelmo Camerario de Seleby Roberto fratre ejus etc
