39. Notice of an agreement between Thomas of Polgwidnan, son of Hanmundus de Wendraed, and Prior Ralph (de Cartaret), by which Thomas quitclaimed to the priory all his rights in the moor, land and waters near the lazar house of Nansclegy, with liberty to divert the water flowing in the moor and right of way to their mill for horses and packs, in return for the prior's recognition of his right to his land opposit St. Michael's Mill and the road from the lazar house towards St. Keverne as far as the great stone. Hoc scriptum testatur quod die Jouis proxima post mediam quadragesime anno domini mcclx septimo ita conuenit inter Thomam de Conweman filium Hanmundi de Wendraed et fratrem Radulfum tunc priorem montis sancti Michaelis in Cornubia videlicet quod dictus Thomas dedit concessit remisit in omnino quietum clamauit pro se et heredibus suis et assignatis dicto Radulfo priori et suis successoribus totum ius suum quod habuit vel habere potuit aut se habere dixit in mora et aquis et terris que sunt prope leprosarium de Nanclegy per metas subscriptas videlicet sicuti via regalis que est ante dictam leprosariam se extendit versus sanctum Kyeranum vsque ad magnam petram que est iuxta viam a parte australi et sic vsque ad fontem que est prope petram illam et sic vsque ad vineam dicti Thome qui est exoposito molendini sancti Michaelis et sic vsque ad vadum de Nansclegy per metas factas inde Concessit insuper dictus Thomas pro se et heredibus suis et assignatis dicto priori et suis successoribus omnes aquas in dicta mora currentes ita quod eas ad suum libitum et commodum habeant et ducant inperpetuum Concessit insuper dictus Thomas pro se et heredibus suis et assignatis dicto priori et suis successoribus conpetentem viam omnibus hominibus suum molendinum sequentibus cum equis et summariis et terram ad viam illam emendendam quociens necesse fuerit tenend et habend dicto priori et suis successoribus libere et quiete inperpetuum Pro hac vero concessione et remissione habend dictus prior concessit et remisit pro se et suis successoribus dicto Thome et suis heredibus et assignatis totum ius eorum in dicto orto in illa particula terre que est inter dictas metas et viam predictam vsque ad petram predictam In cuius rei testimonium huic scripto partito modo cirographi et deciso dicti Radulfus prior et Thomas signa sua alternatim apposuerunt Hiis testibus domino Ricardo de Tregod Johanne Beaupre Jocelino de Antrenon Radulfo de Rosmeryn Johanne Longo clerico et aliis
