Ad curiam tentam apud Gynge hospital die sabbati proxima post festum sancti Iohannis ante Portam Latinam anno regni regis Edwardi tertii a conquestu vicesimo nono dominus concessit Iohanni Kempe viginti quatuor acras terre apud Bolefreden[] prout includitur sepibus et metis tenendas sibi ad vitam suam pro voluntate domini pro servicio 9 s per annum et [non] amputabit de grossis arboribus nec de ramis earundem nisi tantummodo pro clausura terrarum predictarum et dat domino de fine pro ingressu habendas in eadem ut per placitum Ricardi Avenaunt et fecit sacramentum etc
