Comment
Date: Dated to mid-twelfth century. Baldwin de Wissant was constable of the honour of Boulogne. He occurs with Walter of Wares in a charter of Queen Matilda dated c. 1143 X 1147 (RRA-N iii 205 no. 57), and in N no. 334 in 1152. While no parish name is indicated in this deed, a Robert son of Rayner is associated with the Wissant family in a Little Parndon deed, and a Eudes with one of the Parndons c. 1154 X 1180 (N nos. 260, 314).Charter on the DEEDS-homepage: http://deeds.library.utoronto.ca/charters/00880333
