465 Notification by William son of William of Tutbury, living in Hilton, that he has abandoned all legal proceedings against the canons of Dale initiated by his father or by himself and that he has taken an oath to that effect. He also obligates himself to com-Pensate the canons should anyone sue them on his behalf or in any matter arising out of the relations between his fitther and him-self and the canons and to this end has pledged his chattels (7 May 1281).
