      In nomine sancte et individue Trinitatis, Patris et Filii et Spiritus sancti. Nos W. sancti Andree dictus abbas et R. decanus Tornacensis, quod vidimus et audivimus, tam futuris quam presentibus attestamur. Femina quedam de Lisweghe, Margareta nomine, divinitus inspirata, pro remedio suornm peccaminum parentumque suorum, portario de Thosan duas mensuras terre, nobis presentibus, contulit ad usus pauperum ad portam supervenientium, perpetuo libere et absolute possidendas. Terra autem ipsa est quam Balduinus, filius Heilevif prius aliquanto tempore sub annua pensione possederat et vulgari vocabulo Ketelslant anti- quitus vocabatur. Ut autem hec donatio lapsu temporum non labatur a memoria posterorum, litteris mandari, nostrorumque sigillorum appensione placuit roborari. Actum in ingressu porte de Thosan, anno Domini M° CC° XVII", mense Julio, presentibus Balduino presbytero dc Suenkerka,' Salomone, Willelmo, Waltero, presbytris et monachis de Thosan et quibus- dam aliis.
