Be it knowne vnto all men by thies presentes, that I, Peter Lyly of the ciltie of Caunterbary, gentleman, acknouleadge | myself by thies presentes to have receyved and had of the right wourship- full maisters and governors of the house [) comonly called the Styllyard in the cilie of London by Ihe handes of master Adam Wakendarn" for his dyett and || entertaynement with me the space of twoo yeres the somme of twentye pounds of good and laufull money of Ingland, over and besides thirtie shillinges also by me receyved for money to hym deliuered at tymes for his necessilies. In witnes wherof I, the saide Peter Lyly, have written thies presentes with myne awne propre hand and therunto sett my narae and seale, the tenth day of May, in the yere of our Lorde God a thousand fyve bundred three score and fower.
