    Edwardus, Dei gracia rex Anglie et Francie et dominus Hibernie, omnibus ad quos presentes liiere pervenerint, salulem. Inspeximus literas patentes domini Ricardi nuper regis Anglie seemidi post conquestum, progenitoris nostri, factas in hec verba: Ricardus Dei gracia rex (folgt das Pri vilegium dieses Königes vom Jahre 1377, November G). Nos autem literas predictas ac omnia et singula in eisdem contenta, rata habcntes et grata, ea, pro nobis et heredibus nostris, quantum in nobis est, acceptamus, approbamus, ratißcamus et tenore presencium diclis mercatoribus Hanse Thea tonice concedimus et confirmamus: prout litere prcdicte pro eisdem mercatoribus Hanse predicte ra- lionabiliter testantur, et prout ipsi mercatores Hanse libertatibus, immunitatibus et quietanciis, io li- teris predictis specificatis et cöntentis, per antea racionabiliter usi sunt et gavisi. In cuius rei lesli- monium has literas nostras fieri fecimus patentes. Teste me ipso, apud Westmonasterium, vicesimo octavo die Julii, anno regni nostri quarto decimo.
