    • Materielle Beschreibung: 
      Initiale J(ohannesmariaangelus) in Federzeichnung links herausgerückt und stark vergrössert.
    • Die Initiale besteht aus einem vertikalen Schaft um den sich die Vipera, das Wappentier der Visconti, schlingt.
    • Stil und Einordnung: 
      Soweit bisher das Material (noch sehr unvollständig) zu übersehen ist, ist dieses unauffällige Stück das erste, das die Vipera als «Symbolon» der Visconti als Initialdekor zeigt. Dies wird in weiterer Folge zum weit verbreiteten Standard für illuminierte Urkunden aus der Mailänder Kanzlei werden.
