N. LXIX. Circa an. Dom. 1147*

PRopter auaros & uiolentos aliarum rerum inuasores, nedi- ripiant passim impune alieni pauperum labores, adhibitis testibus, testimoniisque idoneis presentia facia scriptis eque presentibus memorie mandantes ad posteros transmittimus, ut scilicet quiqiiefuturi Christi fideles nonerint ut presentes, quia in nullis non dicimus ecclefiasticis negotiis ullo modo falsitatem aliquara vel mendacium admittimus. Scripture tamen istius Leclorem vel expofitorem premonemus, ut antequam lequen- tis lectionem cause recenseat, precedents actum textumque traditionis diligenter cognoscere studeat, quatenus utrobique caute, solliciteque instructus seeurior ad aures publice cogni- tionis ueniat. Prior ergo traditio vel delegatio, cuius sequen- tia annotare uolumus, facia est a FRIDERICO, rattsponensi tune temporis aduoeato, quando in ilia famosa expeditione cum CHOUNRADO Rege, itemque cum pluribus terre nostre principibus Hierofolimam pergens, oratorio beati Petri Apo- stoZorum principis, & fratribus in Dei omnipotentis seruitio ibi dem constitutis in stipendia neceflaria cottidianis usibus aliquara prediorum suorum contulit partem. Ergo unum ex eisdem prediis a quodam strenuo milite Gotefrido nomine aliquamdiu benefieii iure retentum. Reliqua deficiunt*
