Cesar Leopold I. naznanja, da so člani ceha mariborskih mesarjev (das gesambte bürgerliche handtwerckh der fleischhackher zu Mahrburg) prinesli patent, izdan od njegovega prednika in cesarja Ferdinanda III., ki je prepovedoval opravljanje mesarske obrti v mestu Mariboru šušmarjem.
