Der Inquisitor Gregorius Heyntze bezeugt dem Inhaber des Schreibens, einem getauften Juden, der einst in Gegenwart Vieler sich wieder zum jüdischen Glauben bekannt hatte, dass derselbe reuevoll zur katholischen Kirche zurückgekehrt sei.

    Nos frater Gregorius Heyntcze, Sacre Theologie professor neenon per dyocesim Wratislaviensem pravitatis hefetice Inquisitor, ordinis predicato- rum, tenore presentium notum faeimus universis, quod lator ipsorum sub data fide ac pura conscientia fessus est, se, mentis alienatione preoccupatum, fidem katholicam abnegasse, multis coram astantibus, ac in Judaica perfidia, in qua fuit natus, se dixisse mori velle. Nihilominus tarnen per dei gratiam ad se reversus, sub juramenti constrictione professus est, se inantea, secuti a prineipio ceperat, in premissa saneta fide velle firmiter permanere, vivere ac mori, veluti fidelis alius quilibet christianus. Quare ipsius premissa sponsione ac devota permoti supplicatione, horum sibi perhibentes testimonium, omnes singulosque divini verbi predicatores auetoritate apostolica, qua fungimur in hac parte, requirimus, quatenus, per eundem presentium ostensorem postu- lati, populo talia curent denunciare, uti, si qui forte suis verbis fuissent scan- dalisati, ex hoc ipso suo sancto proposito salubrius edificentur. In quorum fidem et testimonium sigil lum nostre Inquisitionis duximus presentibus appo- nendum. Datum Wratislavie a. d. 1464, die mensis Marcii ultima.
