    Gregorius episcopus seruus seruorum dei dilectis filiis abbati et conuentui sanete cruris Cisterciensis ordinis Patauiensis diocesis salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Animarum salutem desiderio feruenti querentes uobis auetoritate presentium indulgemus, ut homi- mim ad uestrum seruitium commorantium, qui non possunt de facili suorum habere copiam sacerdotum, liceat sacerdotibus de conuentu uestro, quos tu fili abbas ad hoc duxeris deputandos, confessiones audire, penitentiam salutarem eis iniungere, ac sacramenta ecclesia- stica exhibere sine iuris preiudicio alieni. NuIIi ergo omnino homi- num liceat, banc paginam nostre concessionis infringere, uel ei ausu temerario contraire. Si quis autem hoc attemptare presumpserit, indi- gnationem omnipotentis dei et beatorum Petri et Pauli apostolorum eius se nouerit ineursurum. Datum Perusii II.° idus Februarii, pontifi- catus nostri anno octauo.
