    Vniuersis presentes litteras inspecturis vel audituris cónsules ciuitatis Kop- manhafnensis in omnium | Saluatore salutem. Constare volumus vniuersis, quod sub anno Domini MCCCXXXVIlI nauis ¡j quedam, dicta snekkae, in Oresund per quosdam fuit infestata et inpedita, cuius infesta||cionis seu inpedicionis vel dampnorum ciues Lybicenses vel eorum nuncij, qui tunc temporis pro pace in mari facienda missi nauigio fuerant, rei et conscij omnino non sunt nee fuerunt, neque consilio neque auxilio neque facto, sed magis manum exhibebant adiutricem, quod soeiis in dicta naui existentibus eadem nauis reddebatur, ostendentes se viriliter, non tanquam in- uasores, sed adiutores, defensores et pro posse promotores. Quod in verbo veri- tatis protestamur. Jn cuius rei testimonium sigillum nostre ciuitatis in tergo littere conferimus apponentes. Datum anno Domini MCCCXXX1X, ad octo dies ante diem beati Johannis baptiste.
