      JOHANNES, Dei Gratia Rex Anglise, Huberto de Purgo, Sencscallo suo Pictaviensi, salutem.

      Mandamus Vobis, quod ad custum Nostrum emi facia tis LXXX dolia vini, et ea ponatis in una navi salva, qua; similiter sit locata ad custum Nostrum, et ea liberale1) faciatis Petro Pictaviensi, latori prsesentium2), et nuncio Domini Imperatoris, OTTONIS 3), Nepotis Nostri. Faciatis etiam eidem habere duas naves vacuas, locatas ad custum Nostrum, deferentes vinum, quod in partibus Pictavise datur Eidem Imperatori. Teste Me ipso, apud Woodstok, vige- simo sexto die Novembris4), Anno Regui Nostri XVI.
