Nos Wernhardus dei gratia ecclesie Patauiensis episcopus tenore presencium protestamur, nos vidisse litteras fratris Nycolaij prioris ecclesie sancti Egidij de Nurenberch, collectoris censuum sancte Romane ecclesie, vero sigillo suo signatas, de verbo ad verbum totaliter in hec verba: Nos Nycolaus prior ecclesie sancti Egidij in Nurenberch, collector censuum sancte Romane ecclesie debitorum, a venerabilj domino Theoderico priore sancti Andree vrbe Vetane apostolice sedis legato in Saltzpurgensi, Ratisponensi, Patauiensi, Eychstetensi, Wabenbergensi ciuitatibus et dyocesibus substitutus, tenore presencium notum facimus vniuersis, quod cum auctoritate commissionis predicte venerabilem patrem dominum Walchunum abbatem de Altenburch, Patauiensis dyocesis, ad nostram citassemus presenciam, nobis de censu, si quo Romane teneretur ecclesie, responsurum, jdem abbas sufficientem ad nos procuratorem direxit, quem cum non possemus docere per aliqua documenta, quod prefatus abbas dicte Romane ecclesie in censu aliquo teneretur, nos sibi detulimus iuramentum, qui iureiurando firmauit, prefatam ecclesiam in Altenburch in censu aliquo sancte Romane ecclesie non teneri, et vsque ad hec tempora nullum censum fore a predicta ecclesia requisitum, habens ad iurandum speciale mandatum. In cuius rei testimonium prenominate ecclesie sancti Lamberti in Altenburch presentes damus litteras sigilli nostri robore communitas. Actum et datum in ecclesia sancte Marie Scotorum apud Wiennam, venerabilj domino Wilhelmo ipsius monasterij abbate, et domino Vlrico domini episcopi cappellano presentibus, sub anno domini MCC. nonagesimo secundo, pridie Nonas Aprilis. In cuius rei testimonium sigillum nostrum presentibus duximus adponendum. Datum Wienne anno, mense et die predictis.
