Gregorius episcopus seruus seruorum dei dilectis filiis abbati et conuentui sancte crucis Cisterciensis ordinis Patauiensis diocesis salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Animarum salutem desiderio feruenti querentes uobis auctoritate presentium indulgemus, ut hominum ad uestrum seruitium commorantium, qui non possunt de facili suorum habere copiam sacerdotum, liceat sacerdotibus de conuentu uestro, quos tu fili abbas ad hoc duxeris deputandos, confessiones audire, penitentiam salutarem eis iniungere, ac sacramenta ecclesiastica exhibere sine iuris preiudicio alieni. Nulli ergo omnino hominum liceat, hanc paginam nostre concessionis infringere, uel ei ausu temerario contraire. Si quis autem hoc attemptare presumpserit, indignationem omnipotentis dei et beatorum Petri et Pauli apostolorum eius se nouerit incursurum. Datum Perusii II.° idus Februarii, pontificatus nostri anno octauo.
