      consules et cives Spirenses exactiones aliquas sive gwindaia, que vulgo appcllantur ungelt, que hucusque quandoque in mensuris ab antiquo datis et postmodum minoratis^jseu, in aliis quibuscunque, que hactenus imponere et recipere con.- sueverunt, percipere debeant aut imponere in dampnum et gravamen inhabitancium civitatem Spirensem aut diverten- cium ad eandem, nec predictum statutum pro nostro privato commodo, sed pro communi utilitate tocius cleri et populi duximus imponendum. Quare nobis videtur, quod talia non sine lesione consciencie nostre ac incpjncjdjcacione iusticie to- lerata fuerint hactenus, quibus in futurum precaventes quan- tum in nobis est, nec imponi, nec recipi usque ad decem annos proxime sequentes nullo modo sinemus, nisi dicti con- sules et cives ex privilegiis imperatorum et regum seu eciam de iure scripto nos docere poterunt, ipsis licere, tam impo- nere, quam recipere gwindaia memorata, que vulgo ungelt dicuntur. Testis enim nobis sit Deus, quod hoc statutum non pro privato odio, sed pro commodo publico edidimus et decernimus id inviolabiliter observari. In cuius rei evi- denciam presentem literam sigillis nostris duximus munien- dam. Datum anno Domini millesimo ducentesimo sexage- simo quarto.
