      sensum et vota. que a racionis tramite non discedant, effectu prosequente complere. Cum igitur sicut ex parte vestra fuit propositum coram nobis, de antiqua et approbata et hactenus pacifice observata Spirensis ecclesie consuetudine sit obten- tum, ut ipsius canonici prebendarum, quas in ea obtinent. proventus non percipiant, nisi tantummodo cum in ea resi- denciam feceruut personalem vel, cum absentes fuerint, prius a vobis petita licencia et obtenta: nos devocionis vestre precibus inclinati consuetudinem ipsam prout laudabilis est et iusta et in alicuius preiudicium non redundat, auctoritate apostolica confirmamus et presentis scripti patrocinio com- munimus. Nulli ergo omnino hominum liceat hanc paginam nostre confirmacionis infringere vel ei ausu temerario con- traire. Si quis autem hec attemptare presumpserit, indig- nacionem omnipotentis Dei et beatorum Petri et Pauli, apo- stolorum eius, se noverit incursurum.
