      B. Dei gracia Spirensis episcopus, omnibus in perpetuum. Quoniam hominum vita et iam vivencium memoria labilis ex- istunt, expedit, ut que utilifer ab aliquibus fiunt scripture testi- monio commendentur, ne aliqui in posterum novas et calump- niosas super rebus gestis suscitent questiones. Noverint igitur presentes et futuri huius pagine continenciam inspec- turi, quod nos navigium, sive passagium illud quod Keths nominatur, ecclesie nostre comparavimus, ita quod deinceps via navigio ibi transire nolentibus non pateat, ac de consilio et consensu capituli nostri sic ordinavimus, quod thelonearius civitatis nostre, qui pro tempore fuerit, civibus illis et eorum heredibus, a quibus idem navigium noscitur emisse, annuatim in festo beate Gertrudis octo libras Spirensium communiter et usualiter currencium sine delacione persolvat, de quibus Iibris Henericus miles de Zezeimcheim, ad quem quarta pars dicti passagii sive navigii spectabat, et sui heredes in eodem festo singulis annis, quod tenore presencium protestamur et providemur, sine contradictione qualibet est accepturns, alio- quin dictus thelonearius in octava ab illa die in penam ne- glecte solucionis ad duplum se teneri cognoscat, sic tamen hec octo libre a theloneario predictis omnibus et eorum he- redibus dabuntur, quod summa illa sive quantitas, que de officio thelonii nobis et nostris successoribus debetur, nullam paciatur diminucionem. Acta sunt hec anno incarnacionis Do- mini MCCXXXII. indictione V. VI. kal. februarii.
