Noverint omnes fideles nostri presentes sci- licet et futuri, qualiter nos rogatu Amalrici Spircnsis episcopi et Chuonradi dilecti comitis nostri nobis suggerente, ob amo- rem Dei animeque nostre remedium, ad sanctam Mariam, in cuius honore ecclesia est in loco Spira vocato constructa, cui nunc idem Amalricus preesse dinoscitur, ad augmentum eiusdem ecclesie in proprium damus locum Meriske vocatum in pago Ufgouue, in comitatu Gebehardi. cum omnibus ad ipsum pertinentibus, cum curtilibus, edificiis, mancipiis, pratis, pascuis, silvis, aquis aquarumque decursibus, agris, omnibus- que ad hec iure legitimeque pertinentibus. Ouod scripto cor- roborari iussimus, per quod precipimus quatinus prenominatus locus ad prefatam pertineat ecclesiam perpetualiter ab epi- scopo eiusdem loci possidendus. Et ut verius credatur manu nostra illud firmavimns, et annulo nostro illud sigillari iussi- mus. Signum domni Ottonis serenissimi regis Poppo can- cellarins ad vicem Friderici archicapellani recognovi. Data II. idus feb. anno incarnacionis dominicp DCCCC.
