Pius XII. oznamuje Karlovi Skoupému, brněnskému biskupovi a sufragánovi metropolitního kostela olomouckého, že zvolil Josefa Matochu, profesora na teologické fakultě arcidiecéze olomoucké a papežského domácího preláta, arcibiskupem olomouckým, a přikazuje Skoupému, aby byl arcibiskupa poslušen.
