Karolus dei gratia Romanorum rex semper augustus et Boemiae rex ad perpetuam rei memoriarn. Etsi regiae dignitatis circumspecta benignitas universis fidelibus suis, quos Romanum ambit imperium, consuetae pietatis clementia grata subsidia impertitur, illos tamen ferventiori favore prosequitur, qui relicta vanitate seculi sub regulari observantia et debitae religionis honore nituntur altissimo in humilitatis spiritu iugiter famulari. Noverit igitur praesens aetas et futuri temporis posteritas successura, quod ad nostram accedentes praesentiam dilecti et devoti nostri . . abbas et conventus monasterii Sanctae Coronae ordinis Cisterciensis Pragensis diocesis quoddam nobis privilegium ipsis et eorum monasterio per clarae memoriae dominum Otakarum quondam regem Boemiae praedecessorem nostrum concessum exhibuerunt et etiam ostenderunt supplicantes nobis humiliter et devote, quatenus ipsis et dicto eorum monasterio praedictum privilegium ac omnia et singula contenta in eo confirmare de benignitate regia dignaremur. Nos itaque praedictorum . . abbatis et conventus, qui flagranti studio et continuato devotionis amore ad nos et clarae memoriae illustrem Johannem quondam regem Boemiae genitorem nostrum carissimum ceterosque progenitores nostros sincerum semper cum fidei perfecta constantia gesserunt et gerunt affectum, volentesque eos et supradictum monasterium eorum propterea in et circa praefatas donationes, libertates et iura adinstar divae recordationis illustris Wenceslai quondam regis Boemiae avi nostri, qui etiam praedictis idem privilegium cum quodam articulo addito de ipsius gratia speciali,cuius articuli tenor sequitur in haec verba: (folgt der Wortlaut dieses Artikels; s. VIII), et cum omnibus et singulis in ipso contentis per suas patentes litteras confirmavit, favorabiliter conservare praedictum privilegium ac omnia et singula contenta in eo, prout de verbo ad verbum praesentibus est insertum, approbamus, ratificamus et praesentis scripti patrocinio ex innata nobis clementia et de benignitate regia ex nostra certa scientia confirmamus. Nulli ergo omnino hominum liceat hanc paginam nostrae approbationis, ratificationis et confirmationis infringere vel ei ausu temerario contraire. Si quis autem hoc attemptare praesumpserit, gravem indignationem nostram et poenam quinquaginta librarum auri, medietatem regali camerae nostrae et aliam medietatem parti laesae se noverit irremissibiliter incursurum. In quorum testimonium praesentes litteras scribi et maiestatis nostrae sigillo mandavimus communiri.
